Attention: The savages of Genital Mutilation in South Africa
Posted: January 30, 2014 in Hot Topics
Please help us spread the word. Some young people are dying of traditional genital mutilation in South Africa. This cultural practice needs to be regulated at least by the SA government so that lives can be saved. We are not against any culture or leader but practices that are harmful to children need to be stopped.
Its time for all who care to stand up against genital mutilation. In December 2013 Tanzanian police arrested 38 woman for illegal genital mutilation after 21 girls aged between 3 and 15 had undergone excision.
Usually traditional mutilation is performed without any anesthesia. The practice is painful and harmful.
Children from all cultures need protection, harmful cultural practices need to be stopped. The SA government must act to stop children from being harmed.
South African Film and Publication Board (FPB) have found that publications by Dr. Dingeman on Ulwaluko website ‘to be bona fine scientific publication with great educative value’ the FPB emailed AFP.
